Bormio Thermal Baths

Bormio is known worldwide as an excellent ski area and economic centre of Valtellina. But it also entices wellness holiday makers from all over the world every year with its thermal centre.

The name "Bormio" comes from the German term "Worm" which means thermal water. Later it developed into the word "Bormio".

As early as 1985 the municipalities of Bormio, Valdidentro, Valdisotto and Valfurva gained the rights to the thermal waters source "Cinglaccia”, which provided the Bormionesi thermal baths from 1913 to 1920 (today Bormio Thermal Baths)

Since then the thermal baths have been modernised and extended again and again. Today they are counted as one of the best known thermal baths in Europe.

The Bormio thermal baths are more than just a wellness centre though! They are divided into two areas: the new modernly equipped baths and the old traditional baths from Roman times.

Experience thermal pools, a unique wellness area, an extraordinary sauna complex and two beauty departments.

Enjoy this unique wellness experience and let body and soul free. Recover from the stresses of everyday life and recharge your batteries!
