Latteria di Livigno (Livigno Dairy):
The
municipality of Livigno is located at 1800 m above sea level. The town
is surrounded by rambling meadows and bordered by forests. There are
around 1000 brown Alpine cows which from May to September graze in the
fields around Livigno. The traditional cattle market takes place every
year on the 21st September.
Plaza Placheda:
The
Plaza Placheda is a conference and exhibition centre which was opened
in 2005. With its modern and high-tech facilities it is the perfect

Trepalle: District of Livigno
Trepalle is the highest situated place in Europe which is inhabited all year round.
In
summer Trepalle is characterised by its grass covered steppe with small
houses made of wood and stone. You will also see the white facade of
Europe's highest situated parish church. The mountain landscape will
get trekking and mountain bike enthusiasts excited, but fans of
horse-riding will also be perfectly happy in Vallaccia, Val Trela and
Val di Torte. In the colder months the place turns into
the setting of a winter fairytale. The landscape is showered in icing
sugar and the traditional wooden houses are completely covered in snow.
The snowy pistes are simply a paradise for skiers and Telemark skiers.
